Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
This policy explains what Nodeify™ at nodeify.me (run by Interface LLC, a Texas limited liability company, “we”) keeps about you, why, and what you can do about it. It covers two groups of people: streamers who sign in and use the Service, and viewers who chat or watch on a streamer’s channel that uses it.
1. What we keep about streamers
- Your Twitch or Kick account ID, username, display name and profile picture, from signing in with Twitch or Kick. We don’t ask either for your password.
- If you connect your channel: the access Twitch gives us for the permissions you approve, stored encrypted.
- If you connect Kick (signing in with Kick connects it too): your Kick user ID and username, and the access Kick gives us for the permissions you approve, stored encrypted.
- If you connect a bot account (a second Twitch or Kick account the bot replies as): its user ID and username, and the access Twitch or Kick gives us to post chat messages as it, stored encrypted. Disconnecting it deletes that access and asks Twitch or Kick to cancel it.
- If you set up AI chat sorting: your AI company’s key, stored encrypted and never shown again.
- What you set up and upload: alerts, layouts, commands, giveaways, settings, and your pictures, GIFs, videos, sounds and fonts.
2. What we keep about viewers
To run a streamer’s rep, commands and giveaways, the Service keeps, for that streamer’s channel only:
- Your Twitch or Kick user ID and name. Your Twitch and Kick accounts are kept as two separate records, even if the names match.
- Counts and totals: messages sent, watch time, and what you did on that channel (follows, subs, gifted subs, bits cheered, raids, clips, channel-point rewards, command uses), each marked with the platform it happened on.
- How each chat message was sorted (real conversation, quick reaction, or spam) and, for a reply, which viewer it answered — but not the message text itself.
- If you add a message to a cheer, resub, Kicks, tip or channel-point redemption: the message, to show in the streamer's alert and overlays, only until that stream ends (one sent while the channel is offline: at most a day), then it's erased. What you did and the amount stay.
- If the streamer uses Chatbot Moderation and a message of yours breaks one of their chat rules: that it was removed, which rule, and any timeout. On some plans the removed message's text is also kept, for the streamer and their moderators to review, only until that stream ends (and never more than 24 hours).
- Rep scores and points, badges, VIP time given by the streamer, and giveaway entries.
- Your follow date, and sub months if you share them with Twitch or Kick.
- History a streamer imports from another service or a file: points, watch time, and past follows, subs, gifts and tips.
Chat messages are read while the stream is live to answer commands and give points. Messages the Service can’t sort on its own are sent to an AI company — the one the streamer chose, using the streamer’s own AI account, or on some plans one we provide — and are not kept afterwards. Each streamer’s viewer data is kept separately; one streamer can never see another’s.
Viewer accounts (optional). If you make a viewer account at nodeify.me/me to see your own stats across channels, we also keep: the Twitch and/or Kick account ID, name and profile picture you sign in with; when you confirmed you’re 13 or older and agreed to our Terms and this policy; whether you chose to show your linked Twitch and Kick to streamers as one person (off unless you turn it on — until then each channel sees them as two separate viewers); and your sign-in sessions. You can delete your viewer account at any time on that page; channels keep their own records of what happened on their channel, as described above.
The beta. While Nodeify is in beta we also keep: when you accepted the beta notice; the channel name and (if you give one) email you leave on the waitlist, used only to invite you; and feedback you send with the Feedback button — what you wrote, the page you were on, your plan and any screenshot you attach (kept privately; only the Nodeify team sees it). Ask us at any time to remove your waitlist entry or feedback.
3. Money
If a streamer takes payments or donations through the Service, the payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store card numbers. What an individual viewer has spent or holds is never shown to the streamer or anyone else — only channel-wide totals.
4. Why we use it
- To provide the Service you or your streamer asked for (alerts, rep, commands, giveaways).
- To list channels in the Nodeify directory: while a channel using the Service is live, its name, picture, stream title and category show there to signed-in Nodeify users. Every channel using the Service is listed.
- To keep the Service secure and working (for example, sign-in sessions and limits on repeated requests).
- We don’t sell personal information, don’t use it for advertising, and don’t build profiles for anyone but the streamer’s own community features.
Where the law asks for a legal basis (such as in the EU or UK): for streamers, running our agreement with you; for viewers, the streamer’s and our legitimate interest in running the community features you take part in on their channel.
5. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep you signed in securely. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. The dashboard also remembers small display preferences in your browser (like which sections you’ve folded away).
6. Who else handles it
- Our website host, and our database and file host, which store and process data for us.
- Our chat bot server host: while a channel is live, it reads that channel’s chat and runs its bot.
- Our backup storage, which keeps our nightly database backups, locked with a password only we hold.
- Our email provider: what you send to contact@nodeify.me and our replies.
- Twitch and Kick, which the Service connects to.
- The AI company a streamer chooses (or, on some plans, the one we provide), for chat sorting on that streamer’s channel.
- The chat and social services a streamer connects for going-live posts, if they turn them on: they receive the post (its message, with the stream’s title, category and link).
- Our font service, if a streamer picks a web font: our server fetches the font, so the computers showing it don’t contact the font service themselves.
- A service a streamer chooses to import from, when they import their history from it.
- Our payment provider, if payments are used.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect people’s safety or the Service.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. Email contact@nodeify.me and we’ll tell you which providers we use.
7. How long we keep it
We keep a streamer’s data while their account is open, and no longer than we need it, following the storage-limitation principle of data protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA.
- When a streamer deletes their account (on the Plan & billing page), it’s deleted at once: their channel’s settings, alerts, layouts, commands, giveaways, goals and uploaded files; everything kept about their viewers for that channel; their sign-in; and their viewer account. We also ask Twitch and Kick to cancel the access they gave us. A copy of an uploaded picture, video or sound that OBS, a browser or our file host’s network has already loaded can stay in that cache for up to a day afterwards.
- Billing records. If the channel ever paid through our payment provider, we keep our payment provider’s customer number and last plan for 7 years after the account is deleted, because tax law requires business records and to handle chargebacks. Our payment provider keeps the invoices and payment records itself, under its own privacy policy. Nothing else is kept.
- Viewer Accounts are deleted at once when the viewer deletes them. What a channel recorded about a viewer’s activity there stays that streamer’s record until the streamer deletes it or their account, or the viewer asks us to remove it.
- Viewers seen briefly, long ago. Once a day, a channel’s records of viewers it hasn’t seen for a year and who watched less than two hours in all are deleted. This is always on; the streamer can change those numbers, from six months to five years unseen and from 30 minutes to 10 hours watched. Viewers who ever spent money in the channel, have a badge, VIP or sub history there, raided or hosted it, moderate it or are banned from it are kept.
- Removed chat messages. When a streamer's Chatbot Moderation removes a message, its text is kept only until that stream ends, and never more than 24 hours, then erased. The record that a message was removed (who, which rule, any timeout) stays with that channel's data.
- Messages in alerts. A message a viewer adds to a cheer, resub, Kicks, tip or channel-point redemption is kept only until that stream ends (one sent while the channel is offline: at most a day, and never more than 48 hours), then erased. The record of what happened (who, what, when and how much) stays with that channel's data.
- Backups. Deleted data, including erased messages, can remain in our nightly backups and our database host's own backups until they expire, within 30 days. We don’t restore deleted accounts or erased messages from them.
- Security records. Sign-in sessions end after 12 hours, or up to 30 days with Keep Me Signed In. The record of a sign-in (when it was, and the internet address and browser it came from) is deleted 30 days after it ends, or with the account. Records used to stop abuse, like how many sign-in attempts came from one internet address, are kept for minutes. Our hosting provider keeps server logs for a short time.
- Notices from Twitch and Kick. Each notice Twitch or Kick sends us about a channel (a follow, a sub, a cheer and its message) is held until it’s recorded, then for one hour so a repeat isn’t counted twice. One we couldn’t record is kept for 7 days, so we can look at it and try it again, then deleted.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we keep about you, or object to how it’s used. Email contact@nodeify.me — include your Twitch or Kick username.
- Viewers can ask to be removed from a particular channel. Streamers can also exclude accounts, which stops stats being kept for them.
- Streamers can delete their account themselves at any time, at the bottom of the Plan & billing page. It can’t be undone.
- If you made a viewer account, you can delete it yourself at any time on your viewer page (nodeify.me/me).
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have extra rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
- We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Twitch requires its users to be at least 13. If we learn that we’ve collected information from a child under 13, we delete it. If you’re a parent or guardian and think your child’s information is here, contact contact@nodeify.me and we’ll delete it.
10. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, sign-in sessions end after a period of inactivity, Twitch and Kick access and AI keys are stored encrypted, and each channel’s data is kept apart from every other channel’s. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
11. Where it’s stored
Data is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information is transferred there.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. If a change matters, we’ll tell you on the Service before it takes effect.
13. Contact
Privacy questions or requests: contact@nodeify.me.
